# CineFlow subscription plans and pricing

> Compare CineFlow's four subscription plans, Free, Solo, Team, and Pro, and learn how to upgrade, switch billing cycles, and purchase add-ons.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time from **Settings → Plan and Billing**.

  Yearly plans save you roughly two months compared to paying monthly. For example, Solo yearly at $270 works out to $22.50 per month.

## Plan details

    The Free plan lets you explore CineFlow with up to **2 projects** and **10 PDF exports per month**. You get **1 GB of storage** and full access to the core production tools, shot lists, callsheets, gear lists, and people lists. PDF exports on the Free plan include a CineFlow watermark, and projects are private to your account (no collaborators).

  <Accordion title="Solo, $27/month or $270/year">
    Solo is designed for independent filmmakers who occasionally bring in one other person. You get **10 projects**, **1 collaborator seat**, **100 PDF exports per month**, and **5 GB of storage**. Exports are watermark-free.

  <Accordion title="Team, $49/month or $490/year">
    Team suits small crews working together across multiple productions. You get **30 projects**, **5 collaborator seats**, **unlimited PDF exports**, and **10 GB of storage**. Exports are watermark-free.

  <Accordion title="Pro, $99/month or $990/year">
    Pro is built for larger productions and production companies. You get **unlimited projects**, **10 collaborator seats**, **unlimited PDF exports**, and **30 GB of storage**. Pro also unlocks the **Finance module** and **custom branding** for exported documents.

## Upgrading your plan

    In CineFlow, click your avatar or workspace name in the navigation, then select **Settings**.

  <Step title="Go to Plan and Billing">
    Select the **Plan and Billing** tab from the settings sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a billing cycle">
    Use the **Monthly / Yearly** toggle to see prices for each cycle.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select your plan">
    Click **Upgrade** on the plan you want. You'll be taken through a secure checkout to complete your subscription.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm activation">
    After checkout, CineFlow automatically activates your new plan and the new limits apply immediately. If your plan doesn't update within a minute or two, use the refresh icon next to your plan name to sync your subscription status.

## Switching between monthly and yearly billing

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Settings > Plan and Billing">
    Navigate to **Settings**, then select **Plan and Billing**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the billing portal">
    Scroll to the **Billing** section and click **Open billing portal**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update your subscription">
    In the billing portal, select your current subscription and update the billing interval. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

<Tip>
  Switching from monthly to yearly credits any unused days from your current monthly period and applies them to your yearly subscription.
</Tip>

## Add-ons

Add-ons extend your plan's capabilities without requiring you to upgrade to the next tier.

    **\$10 AUD per month, per seat.**

    Each extra seat adds one additional collaborator on top of your plan's base allowance. For example, on the Solo plan (which includes 1 collaborator), purchasing two extra seats lets you invite a total of 3 collaborators.

    Go to **Settings > Plan and Billing**, scroll to the **Add-ons** section, and click **Add seat**.

      Extra collaborator seats are billed as a recurring monthly charge and stack with your base plan.
    </Note>

  <Tab title="PDF Export Pack">
    **\$20 AUD one-time, 100 exports.**

    A PDF Export Pack gives you 100 additional PDF export credits on top of your monthly allowance. Pack credits are consumed before your monthly credits, so you won't dip into your monthly quota until your pack runs out.

    Go to **Settings > Plan and Billing**, scroll to **Add-ons**, and click **Buy pack**.

    PDF packs are ideal for Free or Solo users who have a short burst of production activity, for example, generating callsheets for every day of a shoot.

## Student discount

If you sign up with an `.edu.au` email address, you're eligible for a student discount on all paid plans.

    The **Student Discount** section appears automatically if your account email qualifies.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify your student status">
    Click **Verify student status**. CineFlow sends a verification code to your student email address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the code">
    Enter the 6-digit code from your inbox and click **Confirm**. Your discount is applied immediately to all future charges.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Student verification is valid for 12 months. You'll receive a prompt in your billing settings when it's time to re-verify. The discount only applies while you have an active paid subscription.
</Note>

## Referral program

Generate a referral code from **Settings > Plan and Billing** under the **Referral Program** section. When another filmmaker uses your code, they receive 10% off their first month, and you earn 2 months of 10% discount per referral, up to a maximum of 10 months.

## Managing your subscription

To update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel your subscription, open the billing portal from **Settings > Plan and Billing > Open billing portal**.

<Warning>
  If you cancel, you'll retain access to your paid plan's features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan, and any projects or collaborators that exceed the Free plan's limits will become read-only.
