# Broadcast your shoot day with CineFlow Live Feed

> Stream real-time shot status to your crew and clients during a shoot day. No CineFlow account required for viewers to follow the broadcast.

Live Feed lets you broadcast what's happening on set in real time. Anyone with the link can open a live, read-only view showing the current shot, what's up next, elapsed rolling time, and overall shoot day progress. The feed updates automatically. No refreshing required.

  Live Feed is available on the **Team** and **Pro** plans. If you're on a Free or Solo plan, the Live Feed button in Set View will prompt you to upgrade.

## Starting a live feed

Live Feed is controlled from **Set View**, which you access by opening a shoot day within your project.

    In your project, navigate to the shoot day you're filming and open Set View.

    In the Set View toolbar, click the red broadcast icon. CineFlow creates a new live feed session and opens the share sheet.

    The share sheet shows a QR code and a unique URL for the live feed. Copy the link or have crew scan the QR code directly from the screen.

Once the feed is started, the broadcast icon changes to a pulsing **Live** badge confirming the feed is active.

## What viewers see

When someone opens the live feed URL, they get a full-screen, dark-mode broadcast view showing:

* **Current shot**: the shot name, scene, shot number out of total, description, and camera/lens/movement tags
* **Shot status**: a colour-coded badge: Rolling (green), On Deck (amber), or Complete
* **Elapsed timer**: a live count-up timer while a shot is rolling, shown in large monospace numerals
* **Up next**: a card previewing the next shot in the schedule
* **Shoot day progress**: a progress bar showing how many shots have been completed out of the total
* **Project name and shoot day label**: in the header so viewers know which project they're watching

If the shoot hasn't started yet, viewers see a **Standby** screen with the project name, day label, and total shot count. When the last shot is marked complete, the feed transitions to a **That's a wrap** screen automatically.

No account is required to view the live feed in a web browser.

## Pausing and resuming a feed

While paused, the Live badge shows **Paused**. Click the broadcast icon (or **Resume Feed** in the share sheet) to resume. Viewers see the same content as before, the feed doesn't disappear when paused.

## Ending a live feed

Ending the feed immediately shows the **That's a wrap** screen to all active viewers. The live feed URL becomes inactive. Anyone who opens it afterwards will see a "feed unavailable" message.

<Warning>
  Ending a feed cannot be undone. If you want to broadcast the same shoot day again, you'll need to start a new feed from Set View, which generates a new link and QR code.

## iOS Live Activities

If you're using the CineFlow iOS app, Live Feed integrates with **iOS Live Activities**. When the feed is active, a Live Activity appears on your iPhone lock screen and in the Dynamic Island (on supported devices), showing the current shot status without needing to open the app.

When viewing a live feed link in Safari on iOS, a banner appears offering to open the link in the CineFlow app to enable the Live Activity. Viewers who prefer to stay in the browser can dismiss the banner.

<Tip>
  Share the feed link with your crew before the shoot starts so they can bookmark it or open it in the CineFlow app. They can leave the page open throughout the day, it stays connected automatically.
