What you can share
Shot list
Share a read-only view of your shot list, including scene breakdowns, shot details, and custom fields.
Script
Share a formatted read-only view of a script, rendered cleanly in standard screenplay format.
Callsheet
Share a published callsheet with crew and cast. You can also email the link directly to recipients from the share dialog.
Gear list
Share a filtered or full view of your gear list, optionally scoped to specific departments or equipment owners.
Generating a share link
The process is the same across all document types:1
Open the share dialog
In the relevant module, shot list, script, callsheet, or gear list, click the share icon in the toolbar.
2
Create a new link
Click Create new link. CineFlow generates a unique, secure token for this link.
3
Label the link (optional)
Type a label such as “Director cut” or “Client review”. Labels help you track who each link was created for.
4
Copy and share the link
Click the copy icon next to the link URL. Paste it into an email, message, or wherever you need to share it.
What recipients see
When someone opens a share link, they see a read-only view of the document. No editing controls are shown and no CineFlow account is required.- Shot list: scene names, shot numbers, descriptions, shot type, angle, movement, lens, and any custom fields.
- Script: the full script rendered in standard screenplay format.
- Callsheet: the most recently published version of the callsheet.
- Gear list: equipment items grouped by department or owner, with status, quantity, and notes.
Callsheet links point to the most recently published version. If you update the callsheet and want recipients to see the changes, publish again and the existing link will reflect the new version.
Gear list filters
When sharing a gear list, you can restrict what a link shows to specific departments or equipment owners. This is useful if you want to send a camera department their gear list without revealing the full production inventory.1
Expand the filter panel
On the link card, click the filter summary row to expand the filter options.
2
Select departments
Check the departments you want to include. If nothing is checked, all departments are included.
3
Select owners
If your gear list has multiple equipment owners, restrict the link to show only items belonging to specific owners.
Revoking a share link
- Disable the link
- Delete the link
Toggle the Active switch on the link card to off. The link becomes inactive immediately. Anyone who tries to open it will see an error. You can re-enable it later.
Emailing a callsheet directly
Callsheets have an additional option to email the share link directly to recipients without leaving CineFlow:1
Open the callsheet share dialog
Open the callsheet and click the share button.
2
Publish the callsheet
If you haven’t published yet, click Publish. You can also click Publish & send to do both in one step.
3
Add recipients
Type email addresses into the recipient field and press Enter after each one, or paste a comma-separated list. Click Add callsheet crew & cast to pull in crew email addresses automatically.
4
Send
Click Send to N recipients. CineFlow emails each recipient a link to the published callsheet.
