The desktop app and the web app offer the same features. The desktop app adds:- Offline access to your projects
- Native system notifications for project updates when the app is running in the background
- Persistent login — you stay signed in between sessions without needing to re-authenticate
iOS app
Downloading

To receive push notifications, you need to grant permission in iOS Settings.
Once permission is granted, configure which events send push notifications in Settings > Notifications inside CineFlow. See notification preferences for details.
Live Activities
During a Live Feed session on set, CineFlow can show the current shot on your iPhone’s Dynamic Island and lock screen using iOS Live Activities. When a Live Feed is active, a Live Activity starts automatically on any iPhone running the CineFlow app. It displays:- The current shot name and number
- Progress through the day’s shots
- Scene information and lens/camera details
- An “up next” indicator for the following shot
- A shot timer (count up or count down, depending on how the Live Feed is configured)
Live Activities require iOS 16.2 or later. The Dynamic Island view requires iPhone 14 Pro or later. On older iPhones, the Live Activity appears on the lock screen and in the Notification Centre.
Switching between platforms
Your account and all project data sync across the web, desktop, and iOS apps in real time. You can:- Start a callsheet on your laptop and finish it on your iPhone
- Check shot progress on your phone while the production coordinator monitors the full shot list on the desktop
- Open the web app on any computer without installing anything

Will my offline changes conflict with edits made on other devices?
Will my offline changes conflict with edits made on other devices?
CineFlow applies offline changes when you reconnect. If the same field was edited on another device while you were offline, the most recent change wins. For collaborative shot lists and callsheets, it’s best to coordinate with your team before making bulk edits offline.
