Before you can create projects or collaborate with a team, you need a CineFlow account. This page covers everything from the first sign-up screen to installing the apps on your devices.

Create an account

Go to app.cineflow.cloud. You’ll see the sign-in screen with two options.
Click Continue with Google and follow the OAuth prompt in your browser. No password is required—Google handles authentication and you’re taken straight to your dashboard.

Complete your profile

After signing in, open your account settings to fill in any details you skipped during sign-up.
1

Open settings

Click your avatar or initials in the sidebar, then select Settings, or press Alt+, (⌥, on Mac) from anywhere in the app.
2

Update your display name and avatar

In the Profile section, you can update your display name and upload a profile photo. Your avatar appears on shared projects so collaborators can identify you at a glance.
3

Set your role

Choose your primary role—Director, Producer, DP, and so on. This is optional but helps your collaborators understand your position on a project.

Configure notification preferences

CineFlow sends email notifications to keep you informed about project activity. You can control the frequency in Settings → Notifications.
  • All — receive emails for every event.
  • Digest — receive a daily summary.
  • Off — opt out of all lifecycle emails.
Setting the frequency to Off opts you out of all automated emails, including the onboarding welcome series and first-project reminders.

Reset your password

If you forget your password, click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. Enter your email address and click Send Reset Link. Follow the link in the email to set a new password.
Password reset links are single-use. If you request multiple resets, only the most recent link will work.

Download the apps

CineFlow runs in any modern browser at app.cineflow.cloud. Native apps are also available for macOS and iOS.

macOS desktop app

The macOS desktop app provides a native window, offline caching, and a recent-projects list. Download it from the CineFlow website and open the .dmg installer. The desktop app checks for updates automatically. When an update is ready you’ll see a prompt inside the app to install it.

iOS app

The iOS app gives you access to your projects, shot lists, and call sheets from your phone or tablet. Install it from the App Store by searching for CineFlow. On mobile, tap a project card to choose which view to open — the project overview, shot list, or call sheets.
All three surfaces—web, macOS, and iOS—share the same account and sync in real time. Changes made on one device appear immediately on the others.

Sign in to an existing account

Return to app.cineflow.cloud, enter your email and password on the Sign In tab, and click Sign In. Check Remember me to stay signed in across browser sessions; leave it unchecked to sign out automatically when you close the tab. For Google accounts, click Continue with Google and select your account from the prompt.
